If you are subscribed to Sirius XM Travel Link you may receive severe weather alerts. If you wish to disable these alerts please find the steps below along with your correct vehicle. *Please note, you may need the latest update to your headunit to access the Sirius XM settings.
Disabling weather alerts in your 2017-2020 Impreza, 2018-2019 Legacy & Outback, 2018-2020 Crosstrek & BRZ, 2019-2020 Ascent, Forester & WRX/STI:
- From the home screen select 'Settings'
- Select 'General'
- Select 'Sirius XM Settings' and then select 'Sirius XM Weather Alert Setting'
- From the Sirius XM Weather Alert Setting screen you can select the frequency you receive alerts along with the weather warnings. To disable the alerts simply uncheck the boxes.
- From the home screen select the Apps icon
- Select 'SXM Travel Link'
- Scroll to the right and select 'Weather Alert'
- Scroll to 'Alert Notifications' and select to turn the notifications ON/OFF
