The vehicle update must be completed by an authorized Subaru Retailer by 2/1/2022. Customers with an active STARLINK Safety & Security subscription will be able to start scheduling service appointments for the complimentary upgrade starting on March 10, 2021. Please contact your Subaru Retailer for further details or refer to your MySubaru account for scheduling assistance.

Update as of 2/1/22:
There is a small window of opportunity where a software update may still be possible.  Customers can contact an authorized Subaru retailer to see if they have appointments available before 2/18/2022.    

If for any reason you are unable to schedule a software update appointment with an Authorized Subaru retailer before 2/18/22, the vehicle would need a part replacement at your expense.  Part availability is limited.   

In the absence of an update or part replacement, the STARLINK services including ACN for the vehicle will no longer function once AT&T retires their 3G network.  As a result, the STARLINK subscription will also be cancelled in the next 45 days.  If applicable, a pro-rated refund will be issued within 30 days of cancellation.
